  • Repairs

    We offer repair services on travel trailers, 5th wheels, motorhomes, horse trailer, boat trailers, food trucks and utility trailers.

    Idle Wheels RV Center offers a wide range of services to suit every R.V. need.

    All services are done in shop and by appointment only.

  • Propane

    We sell propane. New tanks and all accessories. Stop in at our fill station for $2.89 a gallon + tax. Propane is pumped daily, 8:00 am-5:30pm.

    We also offer recertification on any LPG tanks for $5.00.

    We can revalve tanks for your forklift and commercial as well.

    New tanks will vary on size for prices.

  • Parts Store

    We have one of the largest, fully stocked RV parts and accessories store in El Dorado County. Our store offers new parts for all your RV needs.

    Hitches, fuses, lights, vents, awnings, toilets, exterior wash, propane tanks/parts & many more accessories. Our store offers thousands of parts for all your RV needs. Need something, call ahead or stop in to browse.

On May 1, 1978, Vern & Kathy Weldy opened the doors to Idle Wheels RV center, INC. with the vision of serving the needs of fellow recreational vehicle owners. After 46 years of successful business, Idle Wheels RV Center is still moving forward.

After 35 years of successful ownership Vern & Katy retired. Their son Mark has continued to hard work combined with the vision to promote growth for this business. You will find Mark overseeing the daily rigors of service and sales.

Idle Wheels RV Center is and will continue to be a family owned and operated business serving El Dorado County and surrounding areas.
